Looking for Luxury For Less Spa Holidays

My number one priority when I am on holiday is relaxation! After the stress of getting packed, finding the passport and making my way to the airport, I want to get off that plane, arrive at the hotel and relax. From day one I will arrange my holiday itinerary around me with the main aim of having a lovely holiday that will re charge my batteries. That’s why I choose spa holidays, because I love staying at a hotel that can offer me spa treatments if I want them.

Unlike other hotels you might stay in when you are on holiday, spa hotels are not just your base for sleeping and eating, they are your sanctuary filled with all the facilities you should expect from a good spa. I always like to see a clean and well maintained pool area with a good relaxation area providing sun loungers, robes and slippers for your own personal use when you are in the spa. I also expect a least a sauna and a Jacuzzi, as well as a pool, even if the hotel only offers a small spa area. When you are looking for luxury for less spa holidays it’s always good to check that the hotel offers the facilities you want so you can make the most of your spa holiday.

Stand up for the Ulster Men!

Ulster has made it to the final of the Heineken Cup 2012! Over 40,000 Ulster supporters made their way to the new Aviva stadium in Dublin to stand up for the Ulstermen!  It was a thrilling match between Ulster and Edinburgh on Saturday the 28th of April. The look on the faces over the Edinburgh supporters in the stands said it all – disappointment, as their chapter in the Heineken Cup closed. Now it is an all Ireland Final between Ulster and Leinster at Twickenham on the 19th May. Leinster took victory in the other semi final of the cup this weekend. Leinster set up a great win in Bordeaux despite Clermont Avergne trying to launch a late onslaught against their opponents.

If you have enjoyed the passion and excitement of following your local rugby union team then consider booking early as ActivityBreaks.com are offering Six Nations packages for 2013. Make a weekend of a rugby fixture and get your friends together to enjoy our Six Nation rugby packages in Rome and Paris in 2013! Hopefully the Captain of the Ulster Rugby team, Rory Best will also make an appearance in the Ireland Six Nations team for 2013.

Walk in the sunshine!

Be inspire this summer to take your love of walking to new lengths with a visit to Croatia, and experience the Mediterranean as it once was. In Croatia walking holidays are all the more pleasurable because of the climate, as the weather in Croatia doesn’t differ much from North to south, although it is generally warmer in the south. Croatia’s proximity to the sea means that winters are warmer and summers are cooler that one would expect, making it an ideal climate for walking. The best time to visit Croatia is between the months of June through to September. Summers along the coast usually get 10 – 12 hours of sunshine per day and the summer temperature usually gets no more that 30 degrees, so it really is a very pleasant climate! No matter where you start your journey, the stunning beauty of the landscape is sure to keep your eyes wide open!
