However have you heard of Electro Pop Opera? You may have come across it for the first time at the Eurovision in Malmo.  Here you seen Cezar a Worldwide known contratenor from Romania performing “It’s my Life”, a story about love with an Electric pop track. Cezar has performed in many festivals and well known stages throughout his career and has had many opera roles. In 2001 Cezar was accepted in the Giuseppe Verdi Music Academy in Milan and graduated in 2004 with the maximum grades.  He has already planned two international duets with Andrea Bocelli and Angela Gheorghiu.

In the Eurovision, Cezar came in 13^th place and I am sure this Electro Pop Opera star will go onto better and brighter things. So the next time you are enjoying opera packages abroad, remember you may see the stars again on Eurovision or some other Pop show.

Kayaking in Croatia has grown in popularity over the last 10 years.  As it’s a great activity and the best way to explore the amazing Adriatic Coast.  Our kayaking in Croatia holidays are all managed by experienced guides who have vast knowledge of the sport and the country.

When you arrive at the starting point, your guide will show you how to properly enter your kayak on dry ground first and then you will take it to the water.  When you start to paddle you will be taught to sit with your back straight and kneed slightly bent.  Make sure you are comfortable before you set off.   When you set off, you need to grasp the paddle firmly with your hands shoulder-width apart. You will then build a motion of dipping on side of the paddle into the water with edge side down and then pulling the paddle towards the stern of the kayak and out of the water.

You may be kayaking for a couple of hours a day, so make sure you have some supplies to keep you going such as a bottle of water and some protein bars.  Don’t be worrying as you will get some time to stop off on quiet bays and rest in the sun.

The festival is held each year at the Cap Roig Castle and Botanical Gardens in Costa Brava, Spain.  The land of this estate was purchased in 1927 by Colonel Woevodsky and Dorothy Webster where they built a castle and a magnificent park.  The work was completed in 1974 and the gardens run down in terraces from the castle to the sea. Each year the Cap Roig Festival takes places in July and August.
