Slovenia's Winter Wonderland
The Republic of Slovenia has a population of around 2 million, it is a compact European country sharing its border with Austria, Italy, Hungary and Croatia.
Described as "Europe in miniature", nestled between the Alps and the Adriatic, Slovenia makes an ideal tourist destination because it has everything to offer! See mountains, beaches, amazing forests blanketing its hills and fascinating places to visit steeped in a rich history.
Slovenia's diverse climate sees temperatures ranging above 21°C in July to -2°C in Winter months, but it just depends if you are by the coast or up in the mountains.
Triglav is Slovenia's Highest mountain and a national symbol. Our Slovenian activity centre is at the edge of the Triglav National Park and perfectly situated between Slovenia's most beautiful lakes, Bled and Bohinj. The lodge is also nestled beside the crystal clear waters of the Sava Bohinjska River with stunning views of the Julian Alps.
The location of our riverside lodge makes it an ideal place for ski enthusiasts with four ski resorts within easy reach. The laid back and informal atmosphere created by our great hosts Clive and Myrna and their Great Dane Patrick, means you will always feel welcome and are sure to plan a return visit.

If you are a bit more adventurous then try the Winter Multi Activity Break. You can try out amazing activties like sledging, ice climbing snow shoeing and snow rafting!
All of Slovenia ski holidays to the Reka Hisa Lodge are on a half board basis including:
- Transfers from Ljublijana or Klagnefurt airports
- Transfers to and from the ski resorts
- Your ski pass
- Free equipment hire in December and January which is usually worth 80€!
- Free local wine or soft drinks served with 3 course evening meals
*Transfers from Graz, Maribor or Trieste can be arranged for a supplement
*Ski Hire and Boot Hire is available in the Reka Hisa Riverside Lodge. Boots and skis can be fitted upon arrival. €80 Euro for 3 - 7 Days
When you arrive at the lodge you will be kitted out with your ski gear on the first night and then you are ready for a full days skiing next day!
