As a UNESCO world heritage site the old town is the heart of the city and you will enjoy meandering through the winding streets observing the many towers of the Eastern Baroque Churches which rise above the city skyline.
Explore the city's artistic side or why not visit Vilnius Cathedral and Cathedral Square. Many visitors to Vilnius visit the National Museum of Genocide Victims in the former KGB headquaters.
Vilnius offers plenty of evening entertainment with a plethora of bars, clubs and trendy cafes, its up to you, if you want to dance the night away, visit the theatre or enjoy a quiet cosy drink in one of the old town cellars!
With the main international airport only 10 km from the city centre you only have a short transfer time to your hotel.
A big plus for visiting Vilnius is the fact that it still has its own currency, the 'litas' so no need to worry about the euro here.
