Turkey's Ski Jewel Of The East
Uludag or 'Great Mountain' as it is known is located in northwest Turkey near Bursa and the sea of Marmara, the ski resort is a Turkish favourite because of its close proximity to Istanbul and for the excellent facilities it offers.
Uludag appeals mainly to beginners and intermediates, with its short, shallow pistes. There is also some quality off - piste skiing for the more adventurous out there.
The ski season in Uludag runs from November to April, while perfect snow conditions can usually be found in mid January to mid March.
Getting There
The most practical option is to fly to Istanbul then hire a car or fly into Bursa and take the bus.
