The 2011/12 Ski Season is fast approaching and Europe's low cost airlines have already released their flight schedules for this season.

Flybe has announced this week that there will be a cut to its winter timetable and they will reduce their capacity over the winter amid falling demand and the increase in oil prices. The good news is, Flybe has a high flight frequency which means that it will cut flights without cutting routes.

Ryanair has also announcement that passenger numbers have fallen by 10 per cent this month and it may have to ground more planes this winter.
