All the ski resorts featured below are within 2.5 Hours from an Milan Bergmo Airport. We have represented these resorts for the last 5 years and they all come highly recommended by our past customers. These resorts are less known but this is a great advantage as the slopes are not as crowded and they offer great value whilst in resort.

Montecampione Ski Resort

Montecampione is one of the youngest and most modern winter sports resorts located in the Brescia Ski Area. The resort is equipped with snow cannons that can be used to cover up to 25km of piste if required, this ensures that all skiers from beginners to professionals have the ultimate ski experience. There are 12 restaurants and bars at the resort as well as mountain lodges at the summit.

The resort has lifts over 10km long, with a transport capacity of 18,000 people per hour and over 80km of ski runs with fantastic views. The resort is 1200m in height, the highest lift being 1850m. There is also a ski school available and snowboard park for those interested in snowboarding. ActivityBreaks offers accommodation on piste and down in the valley town of Boario Terme, which offers a ski bus to the slopes. Renowned for its Spa centre, Boario offers a range of Apres ski experiences.

Presolana & Monte Pora Ski Resort

Presolana and Monte Pora ski resorts are adjoining resorts located in the Orobie Alps, Northern Italy. Ski passes cover both areas giving you the opportunity to experience both resorts. Presolana is ideal for beginners and families in comparison Monte Pora is best suited to intermediate skiers. Between both of the resorts there is over 40km of pistes.

The closest airport to these resorts is Milan Orio al Serio (Bergamo) Airport, 50km away and can be reached within the hour depending on traffic conditions.

Alta Valtellina

The Alta Valtellina ski area includes the following ski resorts with a combined total of 110 individual pistes:

Santa Caterina Valfurva (2000m)

Santa Caterina is famous for its world class cross country ski events and is also home to one of Italy's finest skiers Deborah Compagnoni. ActivityBreaks offers a stay in a 3* Hotel, Deborah's very own family run hotel which is located right beside the piste. The ski resort has 40km of slopes suitable for all abilities which covers over 1000 vertical metres.

Bormio (3000m)

Bormio is home to the beautiful Bormio Terme Spa Centre where you can let the thermal waters of the natural spring heal any of your aches and pains after a day out on the slopes. Bormio has a total of 36km of pisted ski runs with pistes above 2500 metres.

Livigno (1800m to 3000m)

Livigno is one of the largest and highest ski areas in the Alta Valtellina Region. It offers excellent intermediate skiing and it is also very close to St Moritz. There is access to over 110km of pisted ski runs.

A local ski bus service runs between the various ski resorts.
