Never skied before or maybe you havent hit the slopes in a long time? Skiing is great fun, and it is a sport that is easy to pick up but more difficult to master. That said it is important to know what your doing so you can avoid going down that black slope by accident!

Here at ActivityBreaks we have put together some great ski packages from all over Europe for folks who haven't skied before or just need to brush up on their ski skills before hitting the slopes.

Our short ski breaks from 2- 4 nights are ideal if you want to get the feel for skiing and are a complete beginner, we also offer ski holidays up to 7 nights in duration so our breaks are completely flexible!

Skiing Bansko

Bansko, Bulgaria

From £204 per person staying 4 Nights in 3* Hotel. Learn to ski is this lively resort where the apres ski is as much fun as the skiing itself.

Being Bulgaria's top Ski resort Bansko is very much aimed at beginners with 35% of its runs aimed at novice skiers.
Aside from the ski it is a fantastic resort with plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants. It has a great party atmosphere wiith over 100 'mehanas' (Bulgarian taverna style restaurants serving local food and drink) so the nightlife here keeps going through to the 'wee hours'.

Furthermore as the Euro can stretch further here than in some other European countries you will not need to spend much, especially given that the package includes Ski Tuition, Ski Pass and Ski Equipment, not to forget your free transfers.

Krkonose, Czech Republic

Krkonose is on offer at £290 per person for 6 nights in a 3* Hotel.
This resort is aimed at beginners with more blue (easy) slopes than red (difficult).

Having the hotel on piste also means no need to wait on ski lifts and with English speaking instuctors giving you free lessons you will have picked up the basics in no time letting you make the most of the included Ski Pass.

The ski resort of Janske Lazne is a perfect destination for a great family ski holiday and is less touristic than some other resorts. However there are restaurants and bars in the area, but it is not a party resort.

Bohinj, Slovenia

Learn to ski in Slovenia for £275 for 3 nights in a 3* Guest House.
This package is all inclusive as the package covers your lessons, ski pass, ski hire and tansfers.

Experience the wonderful ski resorts of Soriska Planina, Kobla, Kranjska Gora and Vogel.

After a day picking up the basics on the slopes, you can even have a go at skiing in the dark, or finish the day with a cold beer which in Bohinj only costs around 2 Euro.

Montecampione (Bergamo), Italy

Staying in the alpine town of Boario at £239 for 3 Nights in a 4*Hotel, this package will make sure you get to grips with skiing as you can book you ski lessons online.

With 4 beginner and 12 intermediate slopes Montecampione has plenty to offer novice skiiers. With this package including ski hire and a ski pass along with transfers, it will also leave your spending money to be better spend in the bars and restaurants of Boraio.

This is a great resort for skiers of all abilities, and this Culinary Delights ski package includes 3 course dinners which are also by candlelight on Friday and Saturday nights.
