Salzburg is a city in central Austria, near the German border. Salzburg was made famous by the movie The Sound of Music and from being Mozart's birthplace. The Salzburg W.A. Mozart International Airport is situated about 20 minutes from the centre of the city. Connection with the city is provided by a trolley bus. The airport has direct connections from Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Brussels, Birmingham, Coventry, Exeter, London, Palma de Mallorca, Paris, Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Vienna, all big German cities, and Zurich. There is a good rang of low cost airlines that flight here, such as easyjet, Jet 2 aerlingus and ryanair.
