Once a holiday destination for 19th Century aristocrats, Madonna di Campiglio is now a flourishing ski resort. It's the most exclusive and well known ski area in the western Dolomites and has seen considerable recent investment to boost it's position further. A superb resort for alpine skiers and snowboarders alike, with quality runs for all levels make this an excellent ski area for families. The views over the Brenta Dolomites to the east and the Adamello glaciers to the west are simply breathtaking - even if you don't fancy skiing this location is a must for everyone to see.
