Montecampione

The Ski Area

Montecampione is one of the youngest and most modern winter sports resorts, situated in the Brescia ski area. It opens from mid December to end of March.

Brescia is the perfect gateway to the lower Dolomites and connects to the beautiful resorts of Ponte di Legno, Tonale, Presena, Vallecamonica, Montecampione and Borno.

Ski Information:

Lifts over 10 Km long, with a transport capacity of 18.000 people per hour and over 80 Km of ski-runs with fine views. The resort has snow cannons that can be used to cover of 25 Km if required to assure everybody from beginners to professionals have a great ski experience in Montecampione.

The ski hire shops are found at Montecampione station 1200 mt near the lifts and Montecampione Station 1800 mt and in all three stations there are various restaurants along with mountain lodges at the top of the mountain.

Ski Bus to/from Boario:

Morning bus departs at 8.00 am or 10.40 am

Afternoon bus returns at 5.00 pm

These services leave from Hotel Armonia.  The service also leaves from Boario Bus Station.

Location

When you choose Montecampione for your ski break, not only will you enjoy great skiing but also the impressive views of Lake Iseo and the Presolana mountains thrown into the bargain. The cities of Bergamo and Milan are also within an hour's drive.

Just 50 minutes by car from Milan Bergamo Airport, this resort is ideal for a short ski break as you can be on the slopes in less than 90 minutes after arrival into Italy.

There is a regular bus shuttle service from Milan Bergamo Airport to Bergamo bus station. You will then be able to get a bus from the Bergamo Bus station to Boario which costs approx €12 Euro return. The journey takes about 1 hour 30 mins and the buses leave every half hour but less frequent on Sunday.

Alternatively private transfer can be booked in advance or why not hire a car.

The direct bus shuttle from Boario to Montecampione ski resort leaves twice in the morning and once in the afternoon and departs just outside Hotel Armonia or Boario Bus Station.
