The Ski Area

Puy St Vincent is a beautiful ski area with an excellent variety of runs and is located within its own microclimate that produces both good snow and sunshine in large quantities.

The skiing covers just 60km of piste and the slopes between the two villages are gentle.

A fast quad chair rises above the tree line to about 2000m and from here you can go back down on some thrilling reds, or the green takes a less direct route back down. Alternatively, continue up via a long chair to the top station of 2700m, serving open reds and genuine black runs. Purchase the Galaxy lift pass and you can ski for the day in the nearby resorts of Montgenevre, Serre Chavalier, Les Deux Alpes and Alpe D'Huez, this opens up a huge ski area.

Location

Put St Vincent is situated on the edge of the Ecrins national park in France.

The nearest airport is Turin / Torino, 130kms (80 miles) away. The next nearest airport is at Grenoble, which is only 138km from the resort.

Aprés Ski

The end of the skiing day can be quite lively but nightlife. At 1600 the après-ski is centred on the main residence building with its variety of bars and cafes.

Other activities range from snowshoe outing, crosscountry skiing, dog-sled and Skidoo outings to paragliding or climbing expeditions on ice cascades.
