Risoul is best known for its great snow record and its beautiful tree-lined slopes. The ski resort is partnered with the neighbouring resort of Vars to form the fourth-largest ski area in France, the Domaine de la Foret Blanche. Risoul is a relatively new ski resort, opened in 1977, and is popular with beginner and intermediate skiers. It is an excellent destination for family holidays or to learn to ski!
This resort also offers the perfect snowboarding location!
Risoul's Surfland offers snowboarders plenty of action with a 140m super-pipe along with big airs, slide bars and jumps. For cross-country skiers, there are vast amounts of terrain to explore with 45km of trails. The resort id excellent for intermediate skiers and offers skiing at all levels.
