The ski resort of Flachau is one of the larger ski stations in Austria, with access to 350km of piste. With the villages of Zauchensee and Kleinarl, it promotes a "paradise" of 88km of groomed slopes, with 29 lifts.
The ski region stretches from the south-east of Salzburg to the upper Styrian Ennstal Valley.
Snowboarding is available with one terrain park and two half pipes. 80km of cross country trails are available around the three villages.
Families will love the children-friendly runs, there is also the 7km long endurance run that will challenge even the fittest of all skiers, steep mogul runs, special race slopes, virgin powder chutes and speed ski runs.
Flachau boasts immaculate ski runs, top of the line lifts, modern snow making facilities and superb apres skiing.
