Pitztal

The Ski Area

The three areas that make up this ski area have a total of 83 kilometers of groomed slopes and a total of 19 lifts.

The skiing slopes cater for skiers of all abilities.  There is a wide range of touring routes and guided descents into the valley.  Among the facilities are a snowboard Funpark as well as ski and snowboard schools.

The Pitztal glacier has a vertical drop in the groomed area of nearly 700 meters, but the truly adventurous who want to go off piste can drop more than a mile.

There is an excellent ski pass that covers the ski area plus the Rifflsee family skiing area.  This area also includes a 7km cross-country trail round the lake, two restaurants and a downhill run linking up the valley station to the Pitzal glacier railway.
