A swift 6-man gondola just 200 yards from your hotel quickly elevates you to the wide Huttererboden plateau with gentle sheltered slopes, excellent for beginners, also the ski school meeting point. From there lifts take you to the highest point of 1858m.

The 35 km of clearly marked and well maintained pistes offer something for everyone. Wide slopes are ideal for beginners, families and intermediates. For the experts there are black run treats and exciting, splendid off-piste opportunities.

In the South-eastern part of Upper Austria, surrounded by the rugged back-drop of the Kalk Alps, is the Hinterstoder ski resort in the Pyhrn-Priel tourist region, home to the steep slopes of the Hutterer Höss.

The nearest international airport to the resort of Hinterstoder is Linz (85km).  Transfer time just over 1 hour.

Apres-ski in Hinterstoder is relatively quiet.  There are 8 ski huts and 2 bars and restaurants.

Other activities in the resort include, a public sauna, fitness centre and tennis.
