On this break you can learn more about Italian cooking, but also explore one of most famous well-being Spa towns in Tuscany: Montecatini Terme. In the resort town there are many famous designers shops. The resort is paradise for wellness and relaxation as there are a lot of Spa centres. One more reason to choose Montecatini is the distance: just 30 minutes by low cost train from Pisa and Florence airports/towns. On this break it will be easy for you to combine relaxing spa days, delicious cooking class and why not some guided tours in Tuscany. Private and group Tours to Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, S.Gimignano are available on request.

The cooking lesson
Our Chef will meet you in the kitchen where he will explain the recipes and cook with you. You will learn to cook the most original Italian recipies. Here is an exampe of the menue:
- Bruschetta with tomato and Basel
- Spaghetti Bolognese or home made pasta with mushrooms sauce
- Rabit with olies and vegeatbles
- Tiramisu or Grandmother cake
This is just an example of what you can prepare. Different menus are offered in the different seasons. If you are vegetarian you can design a special menu with the Chef. After the class you will enjoy the meal with a glass of wine. The classes are usually in small groups of not more than 8 participants.
The Thermal Waters:
The thermal water of the Grotta natural spring is a mineral water containing bicarbonate, sulphate, chloride, magnesium and calcium and reaches the surface at a temperature of 34-35 °c.
If you prefer to combine your Day Spa in thermal pool of the Grotta with a relaxing massage we suggest you to book it in advance (ask the supplier once you book you break).
There may be a small charge for the transfer to the spa which is 10 minutes drive away, this will be confirmed once you have booked.

Monday - FLORENCE - Full day tour- €69 euro
Discover the suggestive corners of Florence! Visit the Cathedral, Giotto's bell tower and the Baptistery with the famous Gate of Paradise. Next stop-Piazza della Signoria and the “Jeweller's bridge”–Ponte Vecchio, where it is well worth making a stop to admire the splendid contents in the old jeweller's shops.Quick entrance to the Uffizi Gallery is included and prebooked too.
Tuesday - CINQUE TERRE - Full day tour- €69 euro
Travelling by boat around the “Five Lands” and making photos of the Mediterranean's most picturesque seaside villages. During this fabulous day-long tour you can swim in the sea, admiring the pretty hillside and the stunning view in front of you. Local wine tasting included.
Wednesday - SIENA-SAN GIMIGNANO–Full day tour– €70 euro
Walk through the narrow ancient streets of Siena and discover the most beautiful square in Europe: Il Campo. Siena has one of the most beautiful Cathedrals in Tuscany and the famous Music Accademia. After some free time for lunch we'll follow through the countryside of the Chianti area among the beautiful hills of vineyards to S.Gimignano. This is the town of the fair towers. There will be a guided wine tasting tour of the best extra virgin olive oil and the famous Chianti wines.
Thursday – VINCI & WINE Tasting – Half day tour- €49 euro
Wonderful tour for those who want to combine art and wine! Visit to Leonardo's house and the museum with his inventions. Stop in a big farmhouse, drink Chianti wine and taste good olive-oil with bruschetta.
Friday - PISA - Half day tour- €55 euro
See the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Admire from Piazza Dei Miracoli the Baptistery and the Cathedral, a masterpiece of Romanesque style.
Saturday - LUCCA- Half day tour – €50 euro
Lucca is the “City of the hundred churches”, medieval towers and the Roman Amphitheatre. A good place for shopping too.
