Car Hire Information:

• Car Type: Renault Megane, Seat Toledo, Seat Ibiza, Opeal Vectra or similar. 
• The car will be available at Sofia Airport.
• The driver must be 20 years of age, and must have valid personal documents including a passport and drivers license.
• The driver must have held their license for a minimum of 1 year.
• There is a deposit of €100-150 which is required.

Bansko is an excellent family resort and is also suitable for first time or advanced skiers.  There is over 100 restaurants or 'Mehanas' serving local and international cuisine and all at great value. There are a number of local discos and nightclubs that stay open late. There is also an opportunity to explore plenty of shops or historic sights.

Are ski lessons available?

Yes ski lessons are available in the resort and customers can choose what they want to sign up for. Alternatively, when you book you can contact the supplier in order to book this in advance which is advised.

Ski lessons are €60 per person for 2 hours for beginners. A discount is available if you are having lessons for more than 2 days.

What is the nightlife like?

Bansko is a museum town with lots of history, traditions, hospitality and charm. There are a number of high class restaurants and over 200 traditional restaurants (mehana) with live music and selected drinks offering Bulgarian and European cuisine at reasonable prices. Bars, pubs and discos close early in the morning.
