Bus Transfer:

The bus will depart from Piazza Martiri della Liberta (in the centre of Voterra) and will take you to the Teatro del Silenzio.  The departure time has not been confirmed as yet. However in the past it was approximately at 5.00 pm.  

The bus will leave you off at the bus depot which is 1 km from the venue.  It is highly recommended that you wear comfortable shoes as you will have to walk the short distance down a gravel path to the venue.

If you have any walking difficulties then it is recommend that you book a private car transfer as they are able to park closer to the venue.  Please contact customer service for more info. 

Your Andrea Bocelli Tickets will be delivered to your hotel for your arrival.

Teatro del Silenzio

Teatro del Silenzio is an Italian open air amphitheatre just outside of Lajatico, a small village in Tuscany.  Lajatico is the hometown of Andrea Bocelli. The theatre hosts the Andrea Bocelli concert once a year every July.   It is 45 kms from Pisa and 95 kms from Florence.

Volterra 

Volterra is a haven of Etruscan, Roman, Medieval and Renaissance art that dominates the Cecina Valley.  Volterra is 550 metres above sea level and affording spectacular views as far as the sea.

It is one of the most unspoilt areas in the region, close to other important art centre’s and the coast, this is an ideal choice for a holiday in Tuscany.

Volterra is just an hour by car from the important cultural centre’s of Tuscany (Siena, Pisa, Florence, Livorno, Lucca) and just half an hour away from the beaches of the Tyrrhenian Coast and from San Gimignano.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Is there a dress code for the concert? There is no dress code but we would recommend that you do not were shorts or t-shirts.  The concert is outside so maybe best to carry a light jacket or cardigan.

What time does the concert start?  The concert is due to start at 8.15pm and will finish about 11.00pm.  If you have purchased VIP tickets, you will be able to gain access to the exclusive area from 7.00pm. Where a finger buffet will be served with cakes and snacks etc (subject to availability).  There will also be a number of catering outlets available around the concert grounds where you can purchase burgers etc.
