The Axis Golfe Ponte de Lima is a traditional countryside course that gives brilliant views over the Lima valley and real contact with the Minho countryside.

Golf Course Details:
Being a little way inland makes the area a little more sheltered, this protection from the Atlantic wind makes the golf challenging but not frustrating. The front 9 is quite undulating and would not feel out of place on a mountain course while the back 9 is quite different, being mostly flat.
The third hole has got to be a competitor for one of the longest in northern Portugal - at over 600 meters from the longer tees.
The clubhouse is also unusual being a converted manor house; it’s worth a visit just for the excellent food which is served throughout the day.
You can play also at Amarante golf course or Estela golf course or Quinta da Barca golf course.

The Axis Ponte de Lima Golf Resort Hotel is located near Ponte de Lima, in the road Ponte de Lima > Braga. If driving by the highway A3 (Porto - Valença), leave it in the exit Ponte de Lima. On the first turnaround, take the direction of Ponte de Lima center, and then follow the Golf field (Campo de Golfe) information plates. On the entrance you will see a giant golf ball. Enter there. The Hotel is inside the field, about 150 m from the entrance.
Transfer time from Porto 45minutes approximately.
