The French Ski Resort of Risoul is located at the heart of the Southern Alps (Hautes-Alpes). The village has not made any concessions in terms of quality of life. Set at an altitude of 1850m, the ski resort combines wide open spaces, comfort and a convivial atmosphere.

Ski Resort Information:
Discover a superb ski domain covering 600 hectares linking Risoul and Vars, looking onto the ranges of Les Ecrins and Queyras, one of the biggest French ski domains:
- 180 km of safe, signposted skiing, at altitudes between 1650 and 2750m
- 112 clean slopes offering excellent conditions for all, from beginners to experienced skiers (10 black, 37 red, 40 blue and 17 green)
- 51 ski lifts
- 35 km of snow shoe itineraries
- 45 km of cross-country skiing itineraries
ActivityBreaks staff enjoyed a visit to Risoul and found the resort to be ideal for young people and families, there are a wide choice of cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. There are a number of Apres Ski bars and a nightclub. The resort is very well run, all amenities are withing walking distance and the accommodation is right beside the piste. This is also an ideal resort for snowboarders with a specially designed snowboard park.

Risoul is one of the 3 ski resorts forming the Domaine La foret Blanche along side Vars Les Claus resort and Vars Sainte Marie resorts.

For your comfort, this 4*residence is equipped with luxury amenities such as a fitness centre with indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, cardio-training room, and lounge with open fireplace.

All apartments have a balcony and a ski locker.
NB: A deposit of €250 per flat (including €55 for cleaning costs) must be paid as a guaruntee on the day of arrival, before the keys are handed over. The deposit will be returned when you leave. However there are any damages to the property they will be deducted from this deposit.

Turin Airport is the closest airport to Risoul, just across the Italian Border. We recommend that hiring a car is the best option, the drive takes approximately 1 hour 30 mins and the roads are well maintained in winter.
