Talamone is an ideal destination for “wind sports” lovers because of its thermal wind blowing NW at an average speed of 15 knots and over. It is also one of the best places in Italy for beginners to learn to kite-surf or windsurf due to the low water level in the bay. The bay is also characterized by the northeast winds and the sirocco blowing SE, particularly appreciated by kite-surfers
