Discover a superb ski domain covering 600 hectares linking Risoul and Vars, looking onto the ranges of Les Ecrins and Queyras, one of the biggest French ski domains:

• 180 km of safe, signposted skiing, at altitudes between 1650 and 2750m
• 112 clean slopes offering excellent conditions for all, from beginners to experienced skiers (10 black, 37 red, 40 blue and 17 green)
• 51 ski lifts
• 35 km of snow shoe itineraries
• 45 km of cross-country skiing itineraries

ActivityBreaks staff enjoyed a visit to Risoul and found the resort to be ideal for young people and families, there are a wide choice of cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.  There are a number of Apres Ski bars and a nightclub. The resort is very well run, all amenities are withing walking distance and the accommodation is very close to the piste. This is also an ideal resort for snowboarders with a specially designed snowboard park.
