Our team consists of experienced free riders, with great results on international competitions, international mountain guides and even a Free-ride judge. Ski Ability Required:

You should have had a number of weeks skiing in recent years and do not have a problem skiing all day on red runs. Falling over is the exception rather than the rule and you are still keen to learn and improve. Your level of fitness and stamina is good.

6 Days Freeride course with Heli ski

Day 1: You will begin your Off Piste Adventure in the ski resort of Vogel where you will meet 2 instructors – one for skiing and one for snowboarding. Today we will be skiing on piste, so we can get to know each other a bit and adjust the programme for the next couple of days. In the afternoon you will each get your own avalanche safety equipment package and you will have a workshop about weather conditions, avalanche safety, snow conditions and different riding techniques.

Day 2: We will drive up to Soriška Mountain. Your guide will pick some interesting places for you to ski and snowboard and we will focus on how to find our friends under the avalanche.

Day 3: Today we will be going to a different resort which lies on the border of Italy and Slovenia – Kanin. The ski resorts offers great terrain for off piste skiing, but because of the lime stone there are many deep holes and caves (more than 100m deep) so it is necessary to have a guide. Kanin is the place of Freeride world tour qualifier competitions. We will be skiing in Slovenia and into Italy, so make sure you bring your passports with you!

Day 4: Today Your guide will also focus on avalanche safety techniques and you will spend the day in the company of an experienced international mountain guide.

Day 5: Vogel with its unique position in the heart of the Julian Alps makes it a great starting point for ski touring adventures. Just walking on fresh snow away from the crowds on the slopes make it an unforgettable experience, magnificent views over Bohinj Lake and Julian Alps. Skiing down the virgin slopes is the final reward at the end of a beautiful day.

Day 6: Skiing and snowboarding in the heart of the mountains with magnificent surroundings far from the crowds, on virgin slopes and even more – today we will climb up with the helicopter. The helicopter will take you up to 2236m and from there we have amazing 1300m of altitude difference to ski down to the Austrian side. Your guide will safely take you to great terrains, so you will be able to make the most of this amazing experience.

The program will be adjusted to the abilities and wishes of our clients and weather conditions. For your own safety its important that you never venture of alone while skiing.

Back Pack, Ski Cloths and your own ski's and helmet if you own them.
