St Wolfgang is a charming and historic village an is a fantastic base to walk around the mountains or discover the Lake Wolfgangsee. The village centre has an ancient pilgrimage church and frescoed old buildings.
On Lake Wolfgangsee you will find countless water sports and boat rental opportunities. Why not relax on the clear crystal waters or try a new watersport.
In the surrounding area you will find Bad Ischl golf course, hiking trails, many marked cycling and mountain bike trails, World Heritage village Hallstatt and the Dachstein ice and mammoth cave in Obertraun (approx. 41 km).
Getting around is easy with a regular bus service to St. Gilgen (30 minutes, ferry servier to St. Gilgen (45 minutes) or a bus service to Bad Ischl (45 minutes). The Schafbergbahn Mountain cog railway gives you an amazing view of the surrounding area.

The Hotel Furian is located at a wonderful place in St. Wolfgang, only a few minutes walk to the historic centre and the hotel's private beach. This hotel is approximately a 5 minute walk form the centre of town and a 2 minute walk to the lakeside ferry and mountain funicular.
Bad Ischl is around 12 km away, Hallstatt, approximately 36 km and Salzburg about 50 km

Take the bus from Airport Salzburg to Main Train Station Salzburg. From there the easiest way to come to the village of St. Wolfgang is the bus. Take the bus and change at "Strobl" for "St. Wolfgang".
