Madesimo is situated at 1500m close to the Swiss boarder in the Lombardy region of Italy, just North of Lake Como. It is ideal for a short ski break!

Wellness Centre:
The Hotel Andossi has an indoor Pool (60m2), whirlpool, sauna, Turkish Bath, fitness room and Kneipp foot spa. You are only allowed access to the wellness centre if aged 14 or over. Also included in the package is a 30 minute massage per person. (subject to availability and age restrictions)
Madesimo Ski Resort:
Madesimo is part of the Valchiavenna Ski area and offers over 50km of downhill ski slopes surrounded by picture postcard panoramas.
The ski area is ideal for intermediate and beginners. There is a highly rated Ski School if you require some lessons.

50km Downhill Pistes, 20km of Cross Country Trials and 12 ski lifts
13 Blue Runs
12 Red Runs
5 Black Runs
2 Snow parks
One of the snow parks is located at 1800m on Aquerela. There are three jumps, rainbow trail, box and four additional rails. The pipe is 130m long, 20m wide and 4.5m high.
The slopes are well maintained during the winter season, but the ski resort nonetheless has artificial snowmaking capabilities. The lowest point is 1550 and the resort extends up to a massive 3000mts !!
Après Ski:
Why not try the famous off piste ski run “The Canalone”. There is also 5lm of Skidoo Runs. There is an underground funicular railway that lifts skiers from Campodolcino (1096m) to Motta Alp (1720M) in just 3 minutes.
Madesimo is very popular at the weekends with keen skiers coming up from Milan. You will find the slopes very quiet during the week.
The village is small but has a good range of coffee shops, pizzerias, bars and shops.
