Meeting you at your accommodation, we will guide you to and through all the experiences, from the spectacle of the abundant rock to the surf and waters of the marine reserve. Our base for the weekend will be the Sennen Cove campsite, 5 miles outside Penzance. This location surrounds us with ancient volcanic cliffs, rolling hill sides and stunning vantage points to access the fantastic surf, providing some of the best activity environments in Britain.

Each day we will break out from our base to find new challenge, some outside your tent or a few minutes down the road and on other days we will travel a little bit further to give you the best experience of what peninsular have to offer. The experience will be tailored to the experience and capability of the individuals in the group and progress accordingly. But at the end of each day, return to the comfort of our accommodation to unwind, rest those sore muscles, take on a hearty meal and prepare for the next day’s adventures.

This is an experience to a rocky and sea shore area, thus there is an inherent risk involved in such an activity. Whilst every effort is made to anticipate all eventualities and medical cover provided for emergencies, it should be understood that participation in the activities is at your own risk and with the acceptance of that inherent risk, shortening and/or termination of the experience is at the instructor discretion.

The experiences of the individual participants on the expedition may vary greatly, from an experienced rock climber to a complete beginner, so the level of preparation depends upon you. A generally good level of fitness will greatly improve the enjoyment you will have on the experience.

Expedition Itinerary

Please note that this is an example itinerary, and is dependent upon team ability, local conditions and infrastructure.

Day 1: We will meet you at your accommodation on the afternoon/evening of your arrival and help you to set up camp and/or settle in. We will then introduce you to the site, its facilities and its rules. We will also give you information on the local area and the nearest towns and amenities. We will then have the opportunity to discuss the week’s activities and get to know each other over a BBQ and refreshments (some foods and non-alcoholic drinks provided, however you may wish to bring additional supplies).

Day 2: Start the day with a good breakfast and pack what’s necessary for the day. We will then travel to our first location of the weekend. Here we will spend the day climbing, where we will learn the fundamentals and techniques of climbing and belaying as well as challenging yourself to an abseil down a vertical rock face.

Day 3: This is coasteering day! We will take an interesting scramble route round the rocks and cliffs of the local coves all at sea level. Making good use of sections of rock scrambles, short swims and plunge pool jumps, we will travel round the coast line investigating possible smugglers hollows and caves as well as meeting the local seals and wild life!

Day 4: This will be a free day for you to simply enjoy the area that is Cornwall. We can suggest any number of family friendly locations to hit the beach, walk the coastal paths, pick up some clotted cream and scones, visit a tin mine or even climb the legendary mount of St.Michael. It is entirely up to you! Why not take some time to Learn how to Surf.

Day 5: With an easy start to the day, we will get kitted up for another potentially wet morning as we make our way to the water’s edge of our cove. Here you will have to work together to paddle the coast line in canoes or successfully construct a raft built of your own design from the materials we provide you. After this we return to the accommodation to pack up our gear, review the weekend’s activities and make our goodbyes.

PLEASE NOTE: Please note that the above itinerary is intended as a guideline only all though every effort will be made to adhere to it, changes may be forced on it by weather conditions, transport failure or other unforeseen events. Please be prepared to be flexible if necessary. Alteration and adaptation of week’s activities can be accommodated to the client’s desire.

You will be able to choose from our list of activities and with your instructors build a week to remember forever.
