This popularity though has allowed for a new and exciting ski region to be opened up and explored. The pristine peaks of the Bulgarian Rhodopi have quietly risen to cater for this new breed of exploring skier and boarder with the resort of Pamporovo developing its facilities to rival anything the Alps have to offer.

Meeting you from the airport, we will transport you to Pamporovo which is situated 1,950 meters up the mountain surrounded by deep pine forest and over 35km of dedicated pistes. The brand new chair lift system can accommodate over 9000 skiers an hour, whisking them up to enjoy the fantastic variety of runs available from complete beginner to advanced off-piste.

Our base for this winter adventure wonderland is the Pamporovo Place apartments located within easy walking distance from the chair lift. With both your ski hire and lift pass’s included you can hit the slopes from the first moment, then return at the end of a good hard day to the comfort of our apartment  to unwind, rest those sore muscles, take on a hearty meal and prepare for the next day’s adventures. The Apartments have a indoor swimming pool, sauna and whirlpool.

Ski Resort Info

The resort has over 35 km of manicured pistes and 39 km of cross-country tracks. Set amongst magnificent pine forests, Pamporovo is a modern ski resort, one of the largest in Bulgaria and one of the most popular in Eastern Europe. At the hear of the Rhodope Mountains, Pamporovo is the sunniest Bulgarian winter ski resort with 270 days of sunshine each year.

Pamporovo is situated at an altitude of 1950m and has wonderful snow throughout the season.  There is a 475 meter of descent; all facilitated by 19 lifts servicing 9000 skiers per hour. It has a relaxed ski atmosphere and is ideal for beginners with 60% of the slopes open to them. The ski pistes offer different levels of difficulty - from super advanced (The Wall) to beginners (The Tourist track - 4m long). Pamporovo has something for everyone to enjoy.

The area has no history of major avalanches or violent changes in the weather making it a safe and relaxing place for ski, snowboard, cross country ski and snow hike.  Over 10 Million Bulgarian Lev has been invested in the improvement of the ski zone over the last 3 years.  The resort also offers a 150m long and 3m high half pipe, which provides great conditions for snowboarding.
