Enjoy of a short Nordic Walking Holiday in Spain by the sea and near the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona.
Your base for the Nordic Walking is the Barcelona-Maresme coast. You will stay in 3* Hotel, a few metres from the beach and on offer you will have all the facilities and service of the best 3 star hotels. Excellent breakfast and dinner buffets are included in the package as well as snacks for the walks.
Nordic Walking can be performed by any person of any age or ability who might otherwise walk without poles. It increases overall strength and endurance in the core muscles and the entire upper body. You will see a significant increase in heart rate at any given pace.
Enjoy the bright green vegetation and the blue sea, with it's long stretch of beaches, interrupted now and again by charming small coves that give the area its Mediterranean beauty, with warm and dry summers and mild winters.

What is Nordic Walking:
Nordic Walking is a relatively new sport with a specific fitness technique ALFA 247. Don’t confuse it with hill walking or trekking as the poles are not planted in front of the walker. You use the poles in a specific way that increases the use of the upper body. You don’t need any previous experience for this Nordic Walking Holiday.

This coast has been growing for long time and now offers all facilities to enjoy of nice holidays. A 20km long and sandy beach of very high quality with a wide range of cafes and terraces.
Nature lovers can enjoy the mountain areas which surround the villages. These offer also a vast cultural richness.

From Barcelona International airport there is a train every 30 minuts to Calella. Any train from airport go to Barcelona- Sants. There train has to changed and take one to Blanes or Calella. The travel, change included takes about 1:50 minuts and costs around 6,00€.
A private tranfer can be organized from Airport to the hotel door. Price is around 70,00€ one way.
