
Peljesac peninsula in Croatia is a real oasis of peace with it's hidden beaches, salt farms, fertile field, vineyards and some of the world famous wine. During your kayak holiday there will be time for river canoeing in Herzegovina and visiting Mostar town, discovering Mljet Island National Park and Dubrovnik, the most beautiful town on the Mediterranean.

Itinerary:
Arrival in Dubrovnik, Croatia. A guide will be waiting for you at Dubrovnik airport, port or bus station. Transfer to Zuljana Bay on the southern coast of Peljesac peninsula. After settling into your room you can go for a walk in the village, have a swim or just relax on the beach or a restaurant terrace. Meet the other members of the group over dinner and discuss the upcoming holiday with your guide.

Trstenik is one of the oldest settlements on Peljesac, with beautiful bays and beaches, clear blue sea, surrounded by pine forests. It is a place for those who seek peace, wonderful nature and typical Dalmatian atmosphere. This afternoon is ayour opportunity to discover the rich underwater world of the Adriatic with professional scuba diving instructors.

The White Beach is without a doubt the most beautiful one on Peljesac. This sandy beach at the doorstep of Zuljana village is situated in a bay surrounded by thick pine wood. The sea is warm and shallow, ideal for snorkeling. After enjoying a swim, we continue kayaking to Lirica, a rocky island with a lighthouse before returning to Zuljana in the afternoon.

Today's adventure takes us to the most exciting karst areas of Herzegovina. We will enjoy a trip on the narrow Trebizat River surrounded by lush forests teeming with birds and the stunningly beautiful karst landscape that has been formed by the river for thousands of years. After a traditional lunch we will visit Mostar, the cultural and economic center of Herzegovina. Back in Croatia, on our way to Zuljana we will stop in Ston on Peljesac, a small medieval town with the longest stone wall in Europe (5,5km), narrow quiet streets, traditional houses and traces of ancient cultures.

Today you can be as active or as lazy as you wish. You can relax on the beach, swim or take an optional excursion - scuba diving in Zuljana Bay area or visit Korcula island.
Note: if you booked a 5-day tirp, this is the final day of your holiday. Transfer to Dubrovnik.

This morning we take a boat to Mljet Island. The northern part of the island is covered by dense, green forest and has been proclaimed national park in 1960. Mljet Island National Park has two beautiful salt water lakes, one with a 14th century monastery on a tiny island. We will explore them on foot or by sea kayaking and swimming in the warm waters of the lakes. There will be time for a fresh seafood lunch in a fisherman's village.

Visit Dubrovnik, the most beautiful of all Mediterranean towns. Ice cream or coffee taste best in open air bistros along Stradun, Old Town's main street and promenade. Hike to Srdj, the mountain protecting Dubrovnik from the north, offering a great view of the area. Take an optional trip to the nearby Lokrum island and enjoy its botanical garden and olive groves, or take the walking tour of Dubrovnik’s famous city walls.

Depart from Dubrovnik for the airport and flight home. You are welcome to schedule your homeward transport for any time. If you decide to spend more time in Croatia, our guides will be happy to recommend other beautiful places to visit - especially those you won’t find in tourist guide books.
