Discover this scenic Amalfi coast by boat for a privileged point of view over Positano, Amalfi, Ravello and Capri. Declared one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites for its undisputed beauty and the uniqueness of its natural landscape, the Amalfi Coast is the land characterised by the oxymoronic combination between mountain and sea, the farmer and the fisherman.
The Amalfi Coast has become famous throughout the world for the unique beauty of its landscapes. The twisting roads squeezed between the rocks reveals tantalising glimpses of small villages, secluded bays, and inlets, all looking out over a clear blue sea in stark contrast to the lush green Mediterranean flora which colours the slopes of the hills and cliffs. A journey which leads the traveller not only to towns of world wide fame such as the picturesque Positano, the one time Marine Republic of Amalfi, and the superbly elegant Ravello, but also to lesser known, yet exquisitely beautiful, places such as Nerano, La Marina di Furore, Conca dei Marini, and Praiano. Continuing further along the coastal route one comes upon a series of fascinating towns facing the Gulf of Salerno - Maiori, Minori, Vietri sul Mare, Salerno.

Destination Guide:
Amalfi
The Amalfi Coast (Costiera Amalfitana) is a lovely coastline on the southern side of the Sorrentine Peninsula of Italy. The UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage site - Amalfi Coast is popular destination, known for its rugged terrain, scenic beauty, and Mediterranean foods & gastronomic delights. Amalfi is a town on the Gulf of Salerno, in Amalfi Coast and close to Positano. Summer is the perfect time to visit the Amalfi Coast and its superb surroundings including Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano, Naples, Ischia, and Capri. Other celebrated towns of the Coast include Vietri sul Mare, Cetara, Maiori, Minori, Ravello, Atrani, Praiano, and Scala.
Capri
Just off the coast of Naples and Salerno, between Cape Miseno and Amalfi, a great rock soars like a dream lost in the cobalt blue sea that surrounds it. This Mediterranean jewel, yearned for and exalted in some of the world's most famous lyric poetry, is the island of Capri. The intoxicating fragrance of flowers, delicate splashes of colour, recollections of a millennial past and a peaceful charm, shattered only by the shrill cry of seagulls, are just some of the magical qualities of this mythical isle. According to some scholars, the etymology of the name Capri may be traced back to the Greek word Kapros (wild boar). Others believe instead that Capri is derived from the Latin word Capreae (goats).
POSITANO
Positano is known for its beauty and architecture, where little white geometric shaped houses, which might look like cubes with small openings and arches form a vertical town. Positano is a must to be seen for your sailing vacation on the Italian sea. In the past Positano’s geographical formation saved the life of many during the Saracen’s invasions. Born as a fisherman town, and a rival to Amalfi, Positano is today a classy and elegant place perfect for the holiday of a life time.
