Lys Spa
The luxury spa is a relaxing and calming atmosphere, where you relax after a day trekking or walking through the Monte Rosa paths!
Lys Spa offers you sauna, Turkish bath, hydro massage pool, aroma showers and salt room. Massages and treatments are available on request in dedicated rooms.
Note: Flip flops (or similar) are required for entry to the spa area and can be purchased at the hotel for a small supplement. Children are only allowed to use the whirlpool between the hours of 4.00 - 5.00pm and must be accompanied by an adult.
Summer Activities:
The hotel is in a privileged location only a 150 m from the lifts of Staffal that connect Gressoney Valley to Alagna and Champoluc Valleys. Numerous walking paths and trekking possibilities for beginners as well as for experts are available. Trekking excursions can be arranged on request for Staffal-Alta Luce or Gressoney la Trinite Col Bettaforca or Lys Glacier and many more an assistance of a professional mountain guide.
Fishing is available at Lake Gover that provides a splendid view of the Monte Rosa.
Canyoning consists of following a descent on small mountain streams through rocky Walls and overcoming obstacles with an assistance of a professional mountain guide.
The Gressoney Golf Course is a 9 hole course available a short distance from the hotel.

The Chalet du lys has a total of 29 guest rooms (Standard, Comfort, or Suite) and 5 Chalets which have all been decorated with rich and powerfully coloured fabrics. Wood furnishings are hand made and tailored for each room. An artist has designed a wall in each room to add to the room’s special feel. Many of the rooms have large beautiful balconies.
With warm soft lighting, your room has a cosy, warm, and romantic mood to welcome you after a day of trekking.
In these cosy rooms, it’s easy to immerse yourself in the peace and stunning beauty of Gressoney mountain life, which we fell in love with and inspired us to stay! Of course you don’t have to leave the 21st century completely behind, as each room has an LCD TV and Internet connection.
All of our rooms have a WiFi connection, safe box and Television.
The restaurant specilises in local dishes and there is an Irish pub on site that seves the best draught beers until late. Breakfast is a sweet and savoury buffet. Theere is also a library with games and toys for children.

Welcome to a little piece of serenity with the mesmerizing beauty of Monta Rosa
Sitting at the foot of Monte Rosa and surrounded by the beautiful valley of the Lys, our huge passion inspired us to revive this previously abandoned hotel. We named our hotel Chalet Du Lys. We’re located in the Staffal area, just over 3km away from Gressonary-La-Trinite town centre, sitting 1850m above sea level.
Across the street you can find a little mini-market as well as an ATM machine.
With the opening of the New and wonderful Indren lift that connects Passo dei Salati 2970 metres and 5 minutes later arrives at the Indren Glacier 3275 metres allowing the summer alpine lovers to get up to refuge Margherita the highest refuge in Europe on Punta Gnifetti a 4556 metres.
At an altitude of 1,635 meters Gressoney La Trinitè is the highest village in the valley of Gressoney or otherwise known as the Lys Valley, named after the river running through it. Gressoney Saint Jean is 80 km from Aosta and is an elegant town located on a flat plain at 1385 meters above sea level. It is surrounded by the breathtaking mountain peaks and the nearby Lyskamm glacier.

Car Hire DirectionsFollow directions to Volpiano, take the high way A5 towards Aosta. Exit at Pont Saint Martin and continue on SR44 to Gressoney for 40km

Take the shuttle bus to Turin railways station, then by train toward Aosta, get off at Pont Saint Martin. From the square in front of the station catch the bus to Gressoney all the way till the end.
