Santa Caterina Valfurva is situated in Alta Valtellina, at an altitude of 1738m above sea level, in the heart of the Stelvio National Park. It is a typical alpine village combining traditional accommodation with world class skiing.

Santa Caterina Ski Area

Santa Caterina has 40 kilometres of ski slopes, suitable for every type of skier. You'll find the following runs there:

• 5 Blue Runs- corresponding to an easy difficulty level for 2 km
• 9 Red Runs - to a medium difficulty level for 27 km
• 2 Black Runs - to a difficult level for 6 km

Long, fun red runs cover a 1000m vertical descent, some runs are extremely scenic. Build up your confidence and try the Cevedale and the new Deborah Compagnoni-women's downhill runs.  Beginners will feel safe in the enclosed learners area before venturing out on to the mountain to experience the real thing.

Alta Valtellina Welcome Card

You will be given your welcome card on arrival at the hotel. This card is valid for 8 days and allows you to travel on the local bus service with free use of the transport service of Alta Valtellina and within Tirano.  You will also benefit from discount on local sport and wellness facilities.  You can also upgrade your ski pass to cover both Bormio & Livigno. Prices are on request.

Ski and Snowboard Schools:

There are 84 ski-instructors available to help you learn to ski or snowboard, while enjoying yourself at the same time. Private Ski lessons range from 30 Euro per hour and can be booked prior to arrival to secure your booking or when you arrive.

Wellness Facilities:

The hotel has recently added wellness facilities to the Hotel.  Here you will find a Turkish bath, Sauna and Relaxation Area.
