The Campsite is in the West of Rome 10 minutes bus Ride from the Vatican City and 28km / 45 mins by car from Rome Ciampino. Airport.

It couldn't be easier to get from the camping village to the city centre: Right outside the campsite, there is a public bus stop: number 247 will bring you to the vatican museums in about 10 minutes; there, you can take metro line A (at “CIPRO” station) to go up to the Termini station.
Alternatively, you take the train to the Vatican (only 5 minutes and one stop away) from the train station at a couple of meters from the campsite.
Directly at the campsite, you can buy a ticket that allows you to use all public transport in Rome for an entire day for 4.00 euro.

Camping Roma- Bungalow
Description
Camping Roma, is the first and longest established campsite in Rome, it is superbly located in a breathtaking tree and vegetation area, you would hardly believe that you were right in the heart of the city.
The bungalow has two beds with private bathroom and a/c-heating.
We also have swimming-pool (in the summer time)washing facilities, internet point, supermarket and we are also very well connected to the city centre by bus or metro.
Bed linen is provided. Towels are available for hire at reception.
Accommodation Location
Camping Roma is only 3 km from Vatican City and 15km from the seaside. Our staff will be glad to welcome you to our site, our restaurant, bar or later on dancing at the nightclub.
Very easy to reach, by car (exit n.1 of GRA);by public transportations or with our Shuttle service from Fiumicino and Ciampino Airport.

How To Get There
- Public transport from Airport:
Transfer from Airport to Campsite is about 45 minutes
Bus from Campsite to Vatican Musuem is about 10 minutes.
Coming from Ciampino Airport take the bus to ANAGNINA metro station and go all the way down to CORNELIA metro station.
At CORNELIA station;follow the exit signs direction "Piazza Irnerio" and then follow the signs for "Via Aurelia". Once you are outside the metro you can see in front of you some bus stops next to a Mcdonalds; from there you can catch bus number 246 and get off in front of the camping village. The bus stops in front of a supermarket, please use the footbridge to cross the road to the camping village. - Private Airport transfers:

- Travelling by car: From the motorway G.R.A. (the big ring road) take exit number 1 AURELIA towards San Pietro- Cittą del Vaticano-Centro.Along the AURELIA, you will find the campsite at num.831 on the right hand side.
