Camping Roma- Chalet
Description
The chalet has two bedrooms one single with three beds and one double with a double bed, 2 showers and 2 toilets ,fridge, livingroom, fully furnished kitchen, air conditioning and heating. We also have washing facilities, internet point, supermarket, bar, restaurant, disco and we are also very well connected to the city centre by bus or metro.
Bed linen is provided. Towels are available for hire at reception.
Accommodation Location
Camping Roma, is superbly located in a breathtaking tree and vegetation area, you would hardly believe that you were right in the heart of the city. Only 3 km from Vatican City and 15km from the seaside. Very easy to reach, by car (exit n.1 of GRA); by public transportations or with our Shuttle service from Fiumicino and Ciampino Airport.

How To Get There
- Public transport from Airport:
Transfer from Airport to Campsite is about 45 minutes
Bus from Campsite to Vatican Musuem is about 10 minutes.
Metro and buses run from 5.30am until 23.30Coming from Ciampino Airport take the bus to ANAGNINA metro station and go all the way down to CORNELIA metro station.
At CORNELIA station follow the exit signs direction "Piazza Irnerio" and then follow the signs for "Via Aurelia". Once you are outside the metro you can see in front of you some bus stops next to a Mc Donalds. From there you can catch bus number 246 and get off in front of the camping village.The bus stops in front of a supermarket, please use the footbridge to cross the road to the camping village. - Private Airport transfers:
The other option is our private transfer option for a minimum of 14 people. Information is available from the supplier after booking.
- Travelling by car: From the motorway A1 take exit ROMA NORD towards Aeroporto Fiumicino on the G.R.A. (the big ring road) and take exit number 1 AURELIA towards San Pietro- Cittą del Vaticano-Centro. Along the AURELIA, you will find the campsite at Km. 831 on the right hand side.
