No licence or experience is required for cruising on the Shannon, we provide a private tuition on board your cruiser once you arrive.
There are numerous places of interest where you can stop off for as long as you like. Don't forget to bring your golf clubs and fishing rods as there are plenty of opportunities for both!

The Shannon
The starting point of your cruise experience will be Banagher, Co. Offaly situated in the heart of Ireland on the river Shannon between the two great lakes, Lough Ree and Lough Derg and only one mile from Grand Canal.
Watch some of the most beautiful scenery in Ireland unfold in front of you as you get underway. Enjoy the thrill of captaining your very own modern cruiser while the rest of the crew are busy preparing breakfast or lunch. Then you can sit back, relax, and let the mighty River Shannon escort you on a nautical journey of a lifetime.
Should you choose to go south then it is Lough Derg that will bid you welcome, surrounded on both sides by quaint Irish Villages with welcoming Irish Pubs, serving Guinness to the sound of traditional Irish Music.
Travelling North to Clonmacnoise, probably the most important of the many monastic sites located along the river, further on is the bustling town of Athlone and beyond is Lough Ree.

Double bed in aft state room with toilet and shower en suite. Two singles in forward cabin converts to a double berth. This superb cruiser is beautifully fitted out to a high standard.
